Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly, verify their identity, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Take accurate patient histories, and document symptoms related to dermatological concerns.
Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, assisting with positioning, wound care, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
Support dermatologists during skin assessments, biopsies, cryotherapy, cosmetic treatments, excisions, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
Document clinical notes accurately in EHR systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling follow-up appointments and managing patient records efficiently.

Skills

Strong knowledge of dermatology practices, skin physiology, anatomy, and common dermatological conditions.
Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions.
Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
