Amistad Medical Clinics is a busy primary care medical group seeking an energetic and friendly Medical Assistant. Duties include but not limited to Back Office support, take vital signs and room patients, assist providers during exams, collect lab specimens, update electronic health records and prepare and clean exam rooms. May also include cross training opportunity for Front Office support such as, answering phones, patient check-in/out, scheduling appts and insurance verifications. Computer skills required. Must enjoy assisting patients and health care providers in-person and over the phone. Experience in customer service (either in medical or non-medical field) preferred. Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred. Position is full time (40 hrs). Will accept new medical assistant that is enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop their skills. This position provides clinical support and coverage at both our El Monte and Los Angeles clinics. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work at both locations as needed.
Must work a minimum of 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance. Paid time off available.
