La Paz offers an alternative for people who might otherwise be in state hospitals or acute care facilities. Treatment at La Paz is based on the philosophy that all individuals have the potential to improve their level of functioning and make choices that impact their quality of life. The goal of La Paz is to reduce the symptoms of severe mental illness; provide safe, effective medical and psychiatric treatment to all residents; and allow individuals more choice and involvement in their treatment. As with all Telecare programs, treatment at La Paz is based on the philosophy that regardless of age or degree of impairment, all individuals have the potential to improve their functioning and to make choices about their environments for living, learning, working, and socializing.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
- PH.D. in clinical psychology or a related field and licensed as a Psychologist in California
- A valid driver’s license, DMV clearance and proof of insurance are required.
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

Pay: $73.45 - $108.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 9 per week
