Our office has proudly served the community for over 30 years, and we have only recently begun implementing a structured hygiene program. This creates an exciting opportunity for the right hygienist to step into a leadership role and help shape the future of our hygiene department.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced hygienist who is excited about developing and implementing hygiene protocols, helping build systems for long-term success, and potentially assisting with bringing on and mentoring additional hygienists as the office grown.
Our office is very open-minded and values your experience, knowledge, leadership, and clinical judgement. This is more than just a hygiene position - this is an opportunity to become the lead hygienist in a well-established practice.
Schedule
- Tuesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Optional Saturdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
A large percentage of our patients are Korean-speaking, so Korean language skills are a major plus.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history reviews, and periodontal examinations
- Take and review digital X-rays and assist with diagnosis support
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and periodontal health
- Maintain infection control and sterilization stardards
- Help develop and implement hygiene systems and protols
- Provide excellent patient care while building long-term patient relationships
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix or similar software
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical terminology
- Experience working in general dentistry
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, medical record review, and documentation review
- Leadership mentality and team-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and patient education skills

Pay: $52.83 - $63.62 per hour
