Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Biller/Treatment Coordinator to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, providers, and insurance companies. Duties
- Act as the main liaison between patients and providers, guiding them through treatment plans and scheduling appointments. Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similiar role.
- Collect, verify, and update patient medical histories and insurance information accurately in electronic health records.
- Billing processes, including submitting claims and following up on unpaid accounts to facilitate timely collections
- Coordinate treatment schedules, ensuring all necessary procedures are documented with appropriate codes for billing compliance
- Maintain meticulous medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the clinical team to streamline workflows and improve patient satisfaction through effective communication and organization
- Skills.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental coding , and billing procedures
- Proficiency in dental software ( Dentrix or Dentrix Asend prefered)
- Experience with dental collection processes to support revenue cycle management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing dental records and documentation.
- Bilingual ( Spanish is required)
- Effective communication skills to educate patients about treatment plans and insurance benefits.
