The Schedule
- The Hours: Straight Monday through Friday day shifts.
Clinical Scope: Advanced Neurodiagnostics
- Advanced EEG Modalities: Execute routine EEGs, continuous Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) in the ICU, Stereo EEG (sEEG), depth grids, and intraoperative electrocorticograms (ECoG).
- Evoked Potentials (EP): Run full-spectrum sensory pathway testing, including Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR), Visual Evoked Responses (VER), and Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP).
- System Application: Flawlessly apply scalp electrodes according to the international 10-20 system using advanced collodion-attached techniques to secure long-term traces.
What You Bring to the Lab:
- Experience Baseline: Deep understanding of neuro-anatomy variations, brain death recording protocols, and the direct effects of anticonvulsant medications on EEG trace patterns.
- Certification Standard: * Preferred: Registered ABRET Technologist (R. EEG T. / Diplomate).
- Minimum Acceptable: Board-qualified with documented experience performing at least 200 EEGs, a proven history of ICU/LTM readings, or completion of all ABRET online coursework.
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
