Pay Range $71,760 - $88,256
Job Summary Responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, as well as monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement. Under general supervision, performs and participates in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports. With minimum supervision, independently completes special projects as assigned by management.
Responsibilities - Prepares and assists Finance team, Agency Program teams, and management to evaluate and monitor projects, expenditures, and reporting.
- Supports the financial analysis using current and historical data, to provide financial reports to understand and explain cost and revenue.
- Supports and produces fiscal feasibility analysis of new / proposed programs and projects.
- Researches and supports the preparation of analyses on a variety of issues and projects involving resource management, internal cost control, and fiscal planning and projection.
- Provides support to Agency management in analyzing financial information, drawing conclusions and providing recommendations.
- Supports and prepares budget and budget narratives for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process in conjunction with the Finance team and management.
- Supports and prepares project and program forecasts.
- Assists in the design of systems for automation of financial management reports and other automated programs integrated with the primary accounting/financial system as needed.
- Calculates analyzes, and reviews fiscal and budget items including direct and indirect allocations line items.
- Performs other duties and related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required and (3) three or more years of directly relevant experience in financial analysis or planning.
- Strong technical and analytical skill set with demonstrated experience using financial tools.
- Experience presenting financial data to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with GAAP and corporate finance principles.
