Job Title: Experienced Mobile Hearing Aid Dispenser (No Sales / Pure Patient Care)
Company: Dove Hearing
Location: Inland Empire, San Gabriel Valley, and Eastern LA
Pay: $50.00 / hour ($100,000.00 - $120,000.00+ per year with mileage/drive time)
Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
About Dove Hearing: We are a fast-growing, facility-direct mobile audiology provider. As a strict B2B clinical contractor, we completely bypass the traditional retail storefront model. This means no retail website, no public walk-ins, and absolutely no consumer sales quotas. We operate exclusively through corporate medical contracts to service seniors directly inside skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Because our work is 100% field-based, all of our focus and resources are invested into supporting our expert mobile field team.
About the Role: Are you a highly experienced Hearing Aid Dispenser who is exhausted by aggressive retail sales targets, commission pressures, and being tied to a clinic desk?
Dove Hearing is seeking a seasoned, deeply experienced California Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser who wants to return to the heart of this profession: pure patient care. In this fully mobile 1099 independent contractor role, you will manage a regional territory, traveling to various skilled nursing facilities to evaluate hearing needs, fit devices, and provide ongoing support to elderly patients.
You will never be asked to upsell a patient or hit a monthly revenue quota. Your only metric of success is the quality of care you deliver.
What You’ll Do:
- Pure Clinical Care: Conduct comprehensive audiometric testing, fitting, and dispensing entirely focused on patient outcomes, with zero sales or commission-based responsibilities.
- Complex Troubleshooting: Utilize your years of industry experience to manage challenging fittings, adjust devices, and troubleshoot effectively in a mobile environment.
- Independent Route Management: Navigate your designated regional territory independently as a 1099 contractor, managing your daily schedule out on the open road.
- Patient Advocacy: Provide deeply compassionate, high-level ongoing support to seniors in skilled nursing facilities who rely on your expertise to stay connected to the world.
Territory & Driving Note: This is a high-mileage, field-based role. You will not report to a central office. This is an expansive territory covering Riverside and San Bernardino, the Inland Empire, the San Gabriel Valley, and East Los Angeles. You will be managing long stretches of regional highway driving. You must expect to drive extensively using your own reliable vehicle. To support this, you receive generous compensation for both your driving time and your mileage, bringing typical total compensation well over $120,000 per year.
What We Are Looking For:
- Industry Veterans: You must have significant, long-term experience working as a Hearing Aid Dispenser. We need a seasoned professional who can operate independently without clinical hand-holding.
- Active Licensing: A valid, active California Hearing Aid Dispenser License is strictly required.
- Road-Ready Reliability: Must own a highly reliable personal vehicle, hold a valid CA driver's license, and genuinely enjoy independent driving.
- Exceptional Bedside Manner: Working with seniors in nursing facilities requires immense patience, clear communication, and a deeply empathetic approach.
Compensation:
- Base Rate: $50.00/hour as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
- High Earning Potential: With additional compensation provided for your mileage and driving time, average annual earnings exceed $100,000 - $120,000+.
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Benefits:
