We are an established private practice in Lake Forest looking for a long term Registerd Dental Hygienist to Join our dynamic dental team as our RDH is retiring. This is a very friendly family practice and all employees have been with us long term. If you are looking for a long term position in a private and friendly setting to grow with us please apply. Prefer minimum of 2 years experience and familiar with Dentrix software.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to develop personalized care plans.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to foster long-term dental health.
- Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Manage medical records and documentation review with precision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical coding.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following strict infection control procedures and utilizing appropriate aseptic techniques. Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
- Proven experience in general dentistry or dental clinic settings with familiarity in Dentrix system.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly.

Pay: $58.00 - $65.00 per hour
