The USC Perinatal Group is seeking a Specialized Imaging Technologist to join its team.
Prospective individual must have the motivation to provide exceptional patient care to expectant mothers who are dealing with a high-risk pregnancies. In addition, candidate must have appropriate qualifications (such as - ARDMS & NT certified) and experience in OB/GYN ultrasound in order to be considered.
This is a temporary position with a possibility of full-time or part-time hire.
Job Accountabilities:
- Provide high level of proficiency in prenatal/fetal ultrasound and perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures
- Have the skills set / ability to identify fetal abnormalities
- Assist physicians in ultrasound guidance during procedures such as, chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, etc
- Facilitate acquisition and management of accurate data as it relates to ultrasound for diagnostic purposes and quality assurance.
- Must be proficient in: 2D, 3D ultrasound for fetal examination, nuchal translucency, anatomy/growth ultrasound, fetal doppler acquisition, scanning multiples, fetal heart rate, etc
- Experience in using GE Voluson Ultrasounds
- Willing to clean/stock exam room, call patients, document findings, and efficiently communicate with physicians
- Ability to maintain a pleasant yet professional demeanor and work effectively under pressure
Pay: $47.00 - $49.00 per hour
