Primary Responsibilities
- Adhere to HRC Policies & Procedures
- Guide the flow of the daily patient care with the clinical staff, as appropriate and permitted, allowing them to execute their responsibilities successfully
- Answer the telephone in a courteous, helpful manner
- Coordinate patient care with other practices and/or satellite offices as necessary
- Venipuncture, handle specimens (sperm, cultures, urine, biopsies), call labs for pickups when necessary
- Maintain current inventory of supplies and medications to avoid overstocking and/or running out of supplies, and to keep medication dates current
- Provide patient education and health teaching as appropriate
- Clean and stock the rooms thoroughly daily, weekly, and on an as needed basis
- Clean and sterilize instruments daily
- Clean the autoclave weekly and keep a current log
- Maintain medical equipment in good condition and arrange for repair as necessary
- Keep a log of all maintenance and dates of service
- Clean/turn over rooms
- Stock exam and procedure rooms daily
- Empty red bags and replace them daily
- Pull labs from printer, and place on charts
- Filing of lab results, after reviewed and signed-off by physician, to patient’s chart
- Assist with maintaining SART records
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining clinical consents

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
- Healthcare: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
