Job Summary Acts on behalf of the functional management and/or an initiative executive sponsor planning and managing the execution of strategic and critical projects. Participates in activities that develop, coordinate, and implement resources to respond to strategic business needs, improve the quality of agency services and increase awareness of agency programs and services in the community. Has a robust knowledge of and experience in project management methodology and implementation.
Responsibilities - Develops and manages comprehensive project plans (that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines) in support of agency strategic goals.
- Coordinates project activities and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Facilitates meetings and communication channels between stakeholders and project team members.
- Proactively identifies and monitors project risks, facilitating the development of mitigation strategies and/or contingency plans.
- Provides change management consultation and leadership to project teams and other agency stakeholders through change.
- Develops, implements, and manages quality improvement project plans.
- Develops and supports methods and platforms to improve communication between executive leadership, directors, managers, and line staff. Supports standardization of business procedures and rollouts of new technologies and corporate policies or practices.
- May represent the agency at external events and meetings ensuring the agency mission and philosophy is heard. Participates in projects and forums that improve resources available for the needs of youth and families on behalf of the agency.
- Performs other duties, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.
Qualifications - Bachelor (BA/BS) in Business Admin or related field plus (3) years' experience in project management required, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education) to include:
- An additional one (1) year experience performing qualitative research within the social or behavioral science fields.
