OverviewSchedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and on call rotation.
- Working hours will vary based on program and family needs and will encompass various hours and days from Monday to Sunday, as part of a flexible 40-hour work week.
- Typical hours may range anywhere between 8 am to 8 pm or beyond and includes (SBQR) “Standby Quick Response” an on-call or standby rotation team, which may involve occasionally working afterhours, weekends, and holidays, etc. On-call standby rotations typically last seven days.
Compensation We Offer
- The initial compensation for this position ranges from $79,115 to $97,302 per year; depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations.
- 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications.*
- 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions*

Job Summary Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. The Social Worker I provides case management support and services typically within the Foster Care and Adoptions services to ensure the emotional and physical safety of youth and families.
Responsibilities - Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of youth and family strengths and needs
- Develops, reviews, updates and ensures implementation of strength-based service plans for each youth including safety plans, and legal issues.
- Maintains ongoing communication and provides pertinent information to and coordinates with authorized representatives and other team members, participating in meetings, such as youth/family teams.
- Develops permanency connections by building and supporting biological family and connections with other natural support persons; empowers resource families to make permanent commitments to children, and facilitates visits with birth parents and other relatives.
- Supports resource parents to facilitate a successful placement and ensures compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Meets with resource parents and youth in the home and community settings, developing a helping relationship and ensuring needed supports and services are provided.
- Facilitates support groups, provides training and participates in events for resource families, and youth.
- Rotates service as on-call social worker for after hour emergencies.
- Attends weekly supervision, weekly staff meetings, in-service training and treatment team meetings.
- Maintains confidential files, including electronic information.
- Completes all documentation and file compliance in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Meets performance goals; e.g., productivity and quality.Participates in departmental and agency work groups.
- Performs other related responsibilities as assigned to support specific department/business needs.

- Master's degree (M.A.) in Social Work or Social Welfare; Psychology; Marriage, Child and Family Counseling, or Counseling Psychology .
- Equivalent experience that permits an exception by Community Care Licensing.
