About the Role:
We’re hiring a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant I or II to join our outpatient clinic team. This role supports both front and back office duties, including patient intake, direct clinical care, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Include:
Front Office:
- Greet and check-in patients in person or by phone
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and update patient records
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Back Office:
- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for visits
- Record vital signs, chief complaints, and medical history
- Perform routine procedures (injections, blood draws, urinalysis, glucose, etc.)
- Sterilize equipment and stock exam rooms
- Relay lab results as directed by the provider
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
Technology & Admin:
- Navigate EHR systems for documentation and telemedicine
- Basic use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understand insurance basics (medical/commercial)
Qualifications:
- Required: Medical Assistant certificate
- Preferred: Associate degree
- Clinical experience in both front and back office is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Fast-paced, team-focused outpatient setting
- Frequent interaction with patients and staff
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), walking, standing, and use of standard office equipment
